Refund policy
At Smell4u, we take pride in the quality of our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please read this policy carefully to understand your options.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept return requests only in the following cases:
— You received a damaged or defective product.
— You received the wrong product (different from what you ordered).
— The product arrived in an unusable condition.
We do not accept returns for change of mind, personal preference, or if the product has been used or opened without a valid defect.
2. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Step 1 — Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at info.smell4u@gmail.com.
Step 2 — Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos or a video showing the damage or defect.
Step 3 — Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and get back to you with next steps.
Step 4 — If approved, we will arrange a pickup or ask you to ship the item back. Return shipping costs for approved claims will be covered by Smell4u.
3. Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:
— The return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
— The product must be in its original packaging with all accessories and labels intact.
— The product must not have been used, tampered with, or altered in any way beyond what is necessary to inspect the defect.
— Valid proof of purchase (order number or invoice) must be provided.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Online payments (UPI, cards, net banking) — refund to the original payment method.
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders — refund via bank transfer. Please provide your bank account details when raising the request.
Please note that original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. Replacements
In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer a free replacement of the same product. This will be communicated to you during the review process. Replacements are subject to product availability.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
— Products that have been used or opened without a valid defect.
— Products returned without prior approval from our team.
— Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling by the customer.
— Return requests raised after 48 hours of delivery.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only. Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info.smell4u@gmail.com with your order number. If the cancellation is approved before dispatch, a full refund will be issued within 7–10 business days.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the stated timeframe, please:
— Check your bank account or payment app again.
— Contact your bank or payment provider as processing times may vary.
